Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC) is pleased to announce a Logo Design Competition under the flagship initiative “Sikun Guwahati – Mor Guwahati”. The competition invites all creative citizens, students, professionals, and design enthusiasts of Guwahati to participate and showcase their artistic brilliance.
The logo will serve as the official identity of the campaign, symbolizing collective civic responsibility, sustainability, and cleanliness.

About GMC

The Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC) is the chief civic body responsible for the administration and development of Guwahati, Assam's largest city. Established in 1971 under the Guwahati Municipal Corporation Act, it oversees essential services such as urban planning, waste management, water supply, sanitation, road maintenance, and public health. The corporation is divided into 60 wards and is headed by an elected Mayor, supported by a Commissioner who manages daily operations. GMC plays a key role in ensuring the city's infrastructure keeps pace with its rapid growth, aiming to provide a cleaner, safer, and more organized urban environment.
